Seminar“Internet as a tool of support of business competitiveness and liquidity”
On 11 December 2007, “Information Technologies” Corporation (Kyiv) with the support of the Analytical Group of Lviv Committee of Entrepreneurs and EBA held an educational seminar "Increase of business efficiency on the basis of innovative information technologies. Examples of implementation of the domestic software product – ERP-system “IT-Enterprise®”.

More than 40 various local enterprises showed a vivid interest in the topic and attended the seminar. Experts of the Corporation Yuriy Shyshkov, Serhiy Zhulay and Zhanetta Solyar covered a broad spectrum of issues regarding MRP and ERP systems during the comprehensive presentations.
The seminar generally focused on the following topics: production management on the basis of MRPII; production cost management – an instrument of market presence enhancement; on-line corporation management; increase of company value with the use of IFRS; software product “IT-Enterprise” as an effective solution for manufacturing enterprises.

On 18 December 2007, “Ukrainian Internet Auctions” Company with the support of the Analytical Group of Lviv Committee of Entrepreneurs and EBA conducted a seminar“Internet as a tool of support of business competitiveness and liquidity”.
The seminar emphasized the following issues:
- Internet and e-commerce as tools of increasing company profitability (statistics, practical examples);
- Creation of Internet-shops on the web-site with up to 30000 visits per day without additional expenses for hosting, site design, advertisement, etc.;
- Sale of the pledged property (in case of unreturned credits), as well as non-liquid assets, with the use of the Internet auction.

The biggest part of the seminar was devoted to the analysis of one of the most successful Ukrainian Internet resources – www.auction.ua. As Yaroslav Maksymovych, director of “Ukrainian Internet Auctions” Company, said, AUCTION.UA today is considered to be the web-site No. 2 in Ukraine according to the visiting statistics and ratings. The advantages of this instrument are, for example, possibility to track sales of goods in on-line regime, assessment of demand, possibility to buy goods at the price lower than retail prices.
The site is visited by approximately 30000 people daily (18% of them are from Lviv), has around 15000 items for sale, and guarantees 50-100 successful sales per day. Under these conditions, it can surely become one of the most effective tools of business development and enhancement of company’s marketing outlets.
The seminar aroused a great interest of participants and each presentation was followed by hot and vivid discussions.
